Meet Our Team
HM Management LLC started in January 2023 with the desire of its partners to build trusting relationships with clients, providing them with complete assurance their assets are being managed to their highest potential. Clients will enjoy peace of mind, because as owners of rental properties, Cristyn and Brad both understand the direct needs of their clients and treats all properties as if they were their own. They strive to make investment property ownership a stress-free experience for clients through excellent service and communication.
CRISTYN MIYAMOTO (R)
Broker/Partner
In 2005 Cristyn began her career in property management at one of Honolulu’s largest locally-owned residential property management companies. Over sixteen years, Cristyn rose to the leadership position of Vice President, overseeing more than 1,500 units with a team of 10. Properties managed included apartment buildings, condominiums, townhomes, and single-family homes across the island of Oahu. Through her experiences of managing a variety of properties and different client objectives, Cristyn has a deep commitment to personalized client service in all her interactions. In 2021, Cristyn was inspired to start her own property management company, CM Property Management LLC, a full-service brokerage. After an incredibly rewarding year, she partnered with Brad to form HM Management LLC to achieve strength of scale with personalized service.
BRAD HIRONAKA (R)
Broker/Partner
Brad obtained his real estate license in 1992 and initially started out in the real estate appraisal industry for a few years. Obtaining his appraisal license, Brad decided instead to pursue a career in the property management field and began training at Locations Property Management as an assistant in 1994, before becoming a full-time rental agent in 1995. In 1997, Brad was hired at Hawaiian Properties, Ltd., and ended his career there in mid-2015 as principal broker and head of the residential rental and commercial departments. In 2015, Brad started HI Property Management, LLC with a few business partners, and successfully built it up to a thriving rental company. In early 2023, HI Property Management, LLC was dissolved to allow Brad to join HM Management LLC with Cristyn Miyamoto.
JB YOUNG & CO, INC.
Locally based in Honolulu, JB Young & Co handle most of the property management accounting. This invaluable assistance allows Cristyn and Brad to spend more time focusing on rental management to better serve their clients and customers.
